New Products For January

We are pleased to announce two new products, available now, that have been in works for the last few months! One is a simple cleaning aid while the other is an entirely new and custom finish for the Ti Grasshopper.

It is with great excitement that we introduce the Heat Treated (HT) Grasshopper. Using a combination of a torch and a 1000 celsius furnace we can produce some great color gradients and patterns. Each HT Grasshopper is a custom build, making every unit unique. One of 3 artists works for around 2 hours to create some of the coolest looking Hoppers yet.

We are proud to be able to add this as a new finish and show off some great work by HL employees. Every unit is one of a kind and can be viewed by browsing the current selection under Store>Vaporizers>HT Grasshopper. Once a unit is sold, it will be removed from the available supply and replaced with a new design when available. These limited units are available to ship immediately with no wait time.

We are also now offering a small Glass Cleaning Vial for soaking your Front-end in a solvent such as isopropyl alcohol. Many users have requested a small resealable container that they can use to perform the 24-hour front-end soak. Due to the nature of solvents, a simple plastic cap vial will not work; the solvent may dissolve the cap over time. We were able to source a Glass Vial with a Teflon lined cap enabling the use of strong solvents. We hope you find this useful. Find this product under Store>Accessories>Glass Cleaning Vial.

Expect Performance Front-end to be out soon, followed by more exciting things in 2017.

The Grasshopper Vaporizer’s Front-end is the primary user interface point. Users draw through it, pulling hot air into the chamber, creating vapor as the oil in the plant material boils. A feat of both engineering and manufacturing, the Front-end pairs an elegant design with effective vapor delivery.

Over the last few months, we've been working behind the scenes to implement internal upgrades to the Grasshopper Vaporizer. We addressed the most common issues, improved performance, and increased reliability. The Grasshopper is continually evolving into a better and better product. With the addition of new internal components, it is necessary to add identify markings for reliability tracking. Hopper Labs acquired a Rofin Laser marking system for this purpose.

The Backend is the technical designation for the On/Off button and temperature dial component of the Grasshopper. A jam-packed piece of machined stainless steel contains a circuit board, microcontroller, springs,  temperature dial, On/Off button, clip, and battery access threading. This compact and complex piece is responsible for the user interface and easy operation of the device
